Pros
Every other Friday off, certain groups are wonderful to work for, and great 401k. If you get into a good group, it is a wonderful place to be. The challenge is knowing which groups those are before starting.
Cons
Mid to upper management is littered with nepotism and favoritism. They promote themselves over the wellbeing of their teams, company, and product. Some management groups work to cover up mistakes and/or blame other people and departments for their failures, lack of insight, and outright laziness. I found this to be unacceptable for an FDA-regulated medical device company and entirely unethical.
