Pros

I’ve had a very positive experience working as an appointment setter for an insurance company. I genuinely enjoy working with my client, they are supportive, clear with expectations, and easy to collaborate with, which makes my day-to-day tasks more efficient and enjoyable. I also appreciate being part of BruntWork. Their processes are organized and reliable, especially when it comes to payments. They make sure all adjustments are completed before deadlines, which gives me confidence and peace of mind. I also value how they regularly check in with contractors to ensure we’re comfortable with our roles and clients. That level of support shows they care about long-term working relationships. Additionally, the role has helped me strengthen my communication, objection-handling, and time management skills, which are very valuable in sales and customer-facing roles.

Cons

One challenge in this role is dealing with unresponsive leads, wrong numbers, or frequent voicemails, which can sometimes affect productivity and motivation. At times, lead quality can vary, making it harder to secure appointments consistently. There can also be moments where workflows or expectations change quickly, which requires flexibility and quick adjustment. While manageable, it can take time to adapt, especially when balancing multiple tasks or campaigns.

Pros

Being a Spanish–English bilingual representative gives you a real edge: you bridge gaps, de-escalate faster, and connect with people on a human level across cultures. You’re adaptable, clear under pressure, and often trusted with more complex cases because communication is your superpower

Cons

Burnout can sneak in if boundaries aren’t protected.

Pros

I applied as a Medical Virtual Assistant at BruntWork, and luckily, I was called for the initial interview and was able to proceed to the client interview. I failed my first assessment with the client, and I thought I no longer had a chance of getting hired at BruntWork. So, I decided to move forward and apply somewhere else. But surprisingly, they emailed me again saying I was scheduled for another client interview. I was really surprised and confused because usually, once you fail the initial client interview, that’s the end of it. Still, I attended the interview. It was very straightforward , no unnecessary steps, no drama, and the questions weren’t like a beauty pageant. The requirements weren’t hard, either. What I appreciate the most is that they really make an effort to match you with a client that fits your experience. The HR, recruiters, and BruntWork staff are very kind and approachable. You won’t feel intimidated when talking to them. They’re easy to talk to, not pretentious, and have no attitude at all they're super chill. I am truly grateful to God that I found BruntWork.

Cons

The rate mentioned in the email gave me the impression that I would be getting that pay or higher . However, the actual offer was lower than what I expected especially considering I have significant experience in the field. It was a bit disappointing, but I just shrugged it off as I need to have a job
