Pros
People are lovely and supportive! Free lunch. Flexible working as hours can be long as certain points in the season management are relaxed with start times. Annual bonus is a pro but never equates to the hours worked (obviously!). Good catering, snacks and massages for show prep. Option to stay in a hotel next to the office at busy times. Burberry provide everything you need to be able to stay at the office 24/7. Great resources and vendor relations.
Cons
Pay is extremely low for the work expected. Long hours especially weeks before shows (as in 3 hours sleep a night if you are lucky!). Annoying to get projects signed off as there are so many levels to go through and cross company communication isn't a strong point. They don't care about their staff as was told by HR if I wanted more money I should leave as there will be at least 60 people lining up to take my job! The high turnover makes sense but it is also how people can work their way up quite quickly if they are willing to make sacrifices to work/life balance.
