Is Burrows the greatest place to work? No Is Burrows the worst place to work? No The truth is, like most things, somewhere in between. Toxic and entitled former employees are always going to flock to places like Glassdoor to air their grievances and rant about how they were mistreated, or how bad their manager was (it’s always the manager’s fault, isn’t it?). But the truth is, actually, that it’s a fine place to work as long as working is what you really want to do. Don’t expect to walk in and to be showered with bonuses and salary reviews just for turning up. But if you perform well, push yourself, and give it your best every day then you will be rewarded. Retention can be low in some departments, but what do you expect when you predominately employ young and ambitious talent? Who really stays in roles these days for longer than a few years before moving on and up. There are a few lifers, but people leave. It’s just a fact of life. Sooner or later you will hit the ceiling of what you think you’re entitled to vs. what the business thinks you’re worth. Accept it. But while you're there, there's worse places to be.

CGI is lagging slightly through poor tooling and pipelines, which can be frustrating. Poor management of CAD on the client-side can also make things take longer than they should and cause additional annoyance. From outward observations, some departments are better than others. so choose wisely. CGI – The best place to be. For sure. Somewhat confusing. But expanding. Better with new management. Client Services – Ok, don’t.
