I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Burrows (London, England) in Jan 2019
Interview
General chat, some practical coding exercises, good discussion with the team. Seem like a friendly group of people. Lots of opportunity to ask questions, discuss technology, etc. asked for a tour of the building and they did it on the way out.

Interview
I was contacted by an agency about the position and was invited to an interview a few days later. The building was a bit of a mess and the reception was abandoned. It wasn't a very welcoming first impression but I was welcomed by a really friendly team leader after the receptionist eventually returned from outside with a group of other employees and telephoned the hiring manager. The team leader accompanied me to the meeting room where I also met the manager. Both were really friendly and positive throughout the interview and obviously had a buzz for what they do. They both did a good job making me feel at ease and comfortable. They went into depth about the role and the company and asked questions about my work experience. I had to complete a short written observation test that I hadn't been briefed about by the agent, but they both apologized that I hadn't been made aware of it and explained what it was. Afterwards they explained what the next steps in the process would be if I was successful. Unfortunately I was contacted by my agent a few days after the interview and was told that I hadn't been successful this time.
