Pros

OT you need it with how little they pay. Employer-paid health insurance. Other than that it was not worth the stress, the hours, the heat, or the exhaustion.

Cons

60-70 hour work weeks, no family life, no gratitude, and very low pay.. They Talk team, but corporate doesn't uphold their own values.

Pros

This company has been amazing to me. I have been very impressed with the training, shop supervisors, HR, even people in other departments. Willing to take the time to answer questions in a thoughtful and considered manner. I am now middle aged, so I have been around, and this is at a minimum on of the 2-3 best places I have ever worked if not the best. If things change I will come back to update.

Cons

This is wishful thinking, but I wish there was a set time for a 15 min break instead of just whenever the chance for a break is found, but honestly they are cool at CDI. Cool about allowing people to stay hydrated with company provided Gatorade and water. The amenities provided for employees is top tier. They also have special days to thank employees, that are pretty regular so even asking for a set 10-15 minute break is me racking my brain for 5-10 minutes to find ANYTHING to change. It's that damned good there.

Pros

The employees around you are nice and for the most part are helpful.

Cons

Some employees have bad days and they take their feelings out on others as well as the heat inside the shop. Having to constantly use the air compressor to dry off is a terrible feeling and having insulation on your clothes while wet and sweaty is even worse you will itch and scratch and sometimes it will even embed itself deeper into your skin. Overall it’s a f*cking hassle but it’s a good job.
