Pros
- Great people - Decently flexible hybrid model - Work life balance - As far as the work itself goes, it's pretty enjoyable working here, and it's the kind of place I would genuinely like to work for long term.
Cons
- Low compensation, with limited year-to-year growth. If you come in at a lower salary, it seems likely to stay that way relative to your position or tenure at CME. - Cost cutting lay-offs and offshoring makes me concerned for the future, and it's been negative for productivity, quality, and morale. Seems to be a big cost cutting priority from the top. - Lack of internal job postings and mobility for US developers.
