Although the company has made significant investments in technology, those investments have yet to yield impactful results. The overall enterprise spent a lot of time creating core values. The core values made sense and were embraced by most people in the organization. However, a consultant was brought into the organization to help streamline process and procedures. Overall the consultant was making progress in many areas but at the same time was extremely toxic to the workplace as she had no regard for the core values. The teams saw this and morale began to drop. Lastly the overall shared services model was not effective in many areas and as a result CapRelo does not get the support it should. An example of this would be the lack of support that CapRelo receives from the enterprise HR department both at headquarters and remote employees. This has had an adverse effect on the organization.
