Pros
The people at Care are some of the brightest people I have ever met. The diversity of experiences and expertise they bring every day enhances my growth and role in the org. These people are solving hard problems. And they are connected to the core of the work. The mission is important. Care Access is doing something necessary in the world. The CEO is mission oriented and knows research forwards and backwards - if he didn't he wouldn't know what problem we are working to solve. If the work was easy, more people would be doing it. I have the right resources I need to get my job done (computer, tech support, HR), even if sometimes I wish things could be a little smoother or easier.
Cons
The mission is not always clear and some days are harder than others. A bit of admin bloat and growing pains. Layoffs are always awful - being on both sides.
