Pros
Cellular Sales has been growing steadily, and ranks high among small companies. It opened its first store in Maryland in 2011, and in two short years is operating 18 stores, with many more openings projected for the future. Executives are professional and have high expectations for themselves and their personnel. The executive staff in Maryland began as sales staff in other states, and through dedicated hard work, progressed through the ranks to become upper management. I have an office position, with little direct supervision. I am expected to be on time, be professional, be efficient, and be accurate. When I do need assistance, or have questions, the Office Manager is quick to reply with answers or solutions. Salary is competitive. More and more stores will be opening, so more and more sales positions will be added in the future. Sales staff can become team leaders in time. Great benefits available. Several paid holidays. Earned paid vacation and sick leave. Received a bonus both years I've been employed here. Executives hold a classy holiday dinner/party in December to thank the sales staff and office staff.
Cons
There are no cons working in the office for the Maryland region. Sales staff is required to be professional, independent, flexible and responsible for their work, their hours, and themselves. It can be difficult starting a job with Cellular Sales because of the lag time between your start date and your first paycheck. However, this happens in many fields, including public education. If you are not dedicated, or have no work ethic, then you will not do well here.
