Location is huge! Make sure you study the branch well and ask questions in regards to foot traffic and campaign goals relative to other branches. It is very difficult to move up into management roles without producing huge numbers. Your management skills are not looked at in that sense, if you are a top producer then you will probably take on a management role but a pay cut as well. Top producers make more than managers.
