Pros
The younger members of staff were lovely and as we were all in the same boat. The office is located close to the train station.
Cons
The office is small, stuffy, smelly and located above a fish and chip shop (the toilets are in the kitchen). The senior partners are rude and condescending. There's a constant power struggle and bickering, all of them will tell you to do a job differently and will be unkind when you can't do one job three ways. One partner will give you permission to do something, forget and then berate you with the other senior members of staff for doing something without authority. Management are extremely against employees being friends with each other. They will also throw you under the bus if it means saving face in front of the other senior staff. There's a strange practice of alienating one member of staff at a time and picking on them and using them as the scapegoat until they leave and the next person is selected. You will be overworked, micromanaged, patronised and criticised for everything you do. 'Marketing' almost totally means cold calling. You have to meet a cold calling quota. Every single process is outdated. A process that can be done efficiently in minutes might take you an hour because you have to log it in three different ways, as when a new method is added, the old ones are kept as well. This company and its senior management have 0 credibility or integrity. You get paid minimum wage, salary rarely increases but you're constantly being given more work.
