Pros

I enjoy my coworkers. I am also allowed to have tattoos/piercings/dyed hair here which is a plus! The job is very intense (you have very little time to think let alone use the restroom!) and busy, so the shift at least goes by quickly.

Cons

Chronically understaffed; there is multiple callouts a day/a very high turnover rate as new employees quickly realize that the pay does not at all match the work and effort that is expected. This results in me having to run around doing multiple positions at once daily, I can count on one hand the number of shifts I have worked that were fully or optimally staffed. It is an insult to be paid so little in this economy for the work that Chipotle demands from its employees!

Pros

Learning and growing to cultivate your own career path into a competent General Manager. The hours are longer than regular but the position is labeled as salary hourly with a minimum of 50 hours per week which guarantees 10 hours if overtime per week.

Cons

The long hours can be tiring and the expectations are less than or equivalent to that of a General Manager and depending who your boss is dependent on what you learn and how you can grow.
