Pros

There is no supervision so as an ambitious technician, I was on my own to do everything which I really did enjoy to a certain degree

Cons

My cons are merely facts, I really did enjoy working there, but I was pushed to quit after the effects of working 70 even 80 hour weeks for months were setting in and having 10-20 hours a week stolen off my time card by the plant manager Cons: -Plant manager manipulated my time card after punching in and out to steal a huge amount of hours -Plant manager bought zero supplies for me to do my job. Not even parts that I needed for the equipment -General manager didn’t care to listen to any problems going on no matter how major mainly because of the smoke and mirrors from management and he’s under the impression they’re going to be moving the equipment to an empty lot across the street within a couple years, even though there’s zero development going on and even I was told by corporate that’s just a pipe dream -they have great staff with lots of great ideas that would really help the place out which is unfortunate because they have absolutely no voice. -there is zero communication between departments and levels of authority, which can be used to your advantage, but in the end Is very frustrating for someone who actually wants to do something to save the place. -there is absolutely zero training for new staff which is not only dangerous but very costly because the equipment is constantly being broken because nobody knows how to properly use it (not blaming floor staff at all, not their fault)

Pros

The Commission is great. You can make good money in this place.

Cons

While the pay is good, the culture here is not. It is incredibly restrictive. It is very much a “Do what I want you to do, how I want you to do it, and when I want you to do it” management style. They constantly remind you of how much money you can make there which gets annoying after a while. The service team and the sales team are constantly at odds. Not just Cintas, but the industry in general is very sleazy, much like a car dealership. They screw over their smaller customers with enormous year over year price increases. I know a particular salesperson who is having a lot of success their who has no problem lying to his customers, and never answering their calls when the problems come. As long as he keeps the deals coming Cintas does not care. Corporate greed is on full display at Cintas. The Management Development program for college graduates seems like a great opportunity. If you are a young college graduate and you get the opportunity, I would recommend that.
