Pros
Pay is decent, but the schedule was sold to me as 7-330 but that changed after just a few weeks to 10 hour days and every Saturday. Supervisors have zero actual capabilities except for approving overtime. Union is weak and unwilling to fight for you. Work life balance is a joke. My father passed when I was one week out from my employment probation period and my supervisor told me that I was ineligible for bereavement time. He also said (verbatim) “you’re not entitled to s#!r in your first 90 days and you’re not cared about.” Talk about fostering a productive environment.
Cons
Nearly everything. Stay away if possible. Training is non existent. After being there for 6 weeks, I was expected to train two new employees who spoke almost strictly Spanish (not a language I’m capable in) on a highly scrutinized installation. No one cares about you, as noted in my “pros”.
