Pros
Benefits are good: decent pto, good amount of company holidays, decent health insurance, etc. Not the best at anything but not the worst. Good place to work if you love working on legacy refreshes for the us government.
Cons
Huge company, you’re just another number and a blemish on the bottom line. Management will make a sweeping decision and you will be expected to quickly adapt; no workplace democracy. Pay is industry standard (aerospace) or a little less, but compared to other software dev jobs, it’s pretty underwhelming. Depending on department, you will be exclusively be using software tools from 20 years ago. The more deprecated the better.
