There is absolutely no upward mobility at this company whatsoever. Outside hires are valued more than people who have dedicated time and hard work. People with monetary or social connections climb the hierarchical ladder much quicker than others. The leadership team is complicit in allowing egregious HR violations in order to protect the organization. Pay is not competitive - entry level employees make poverty wages yet work the hardest and are treated the poorest. Communication between departments is basically nonexistent. Upper management is generally haughty and classist. Merit and hard work are not valued in the same way as social and political connections.
