      Working at Columbia allows you access to some of the best and the brightest. They make it easy to maintain your job while pursuing additionally degrees to further your advancement in the working world.

      Cons

      The location of the hospital and research facilities is out of the way and somewhat difficult to get to. This makes for larger travel expenses.

      My job with the Columbia Population Research Center is fully remote, which is a great perk. I can also create my own schedule and work any day of the week.

      The work when I had it was amazing, I really appreciated it for what it gave me.

      Cons

      Unfortunately, with the change in management came zero transparency and rules for thee, not for me. It's led to really weird decisions.
