Pros
They have not followed most of the rest of industry in having layoffs; employment seems to be stable. If you hire in from outside they will give you decent pay and an appropriate level, but once you are inside they do not compensate to market.
Cons
Managers are marginally competent, so promotions and raises are given to favorites. The company is obsessed with benchmarking and metrics, so much time that could be spent productively is used to write reports and update spreadsheets on daily performance.
