Pros

One of the company's greatest strengths is its people. I have the opportunity to work alongside a talented, knowledgeable, and supportive group of colleagues who were always willing to share their expertise and help one another succeed. The collaborative environment made it easier to solve problems, learn new skills, and build strong working relationships. Despite the challenges the organization faced, the dedication and professionalism of my coworkers made coming to work enjoyable and were one of the best parts of my experience with the company.

Cons

The company recently laid off 18 employees without hiring replacements or providing a clear plan for how their responsibilities would be absorbed. While I understand that organizations sometimes have to make difficult business decisions to remain competitive or financially healthy, the way this situation was handled was disappointing. Communication throughout the process was minimal, leaving employees with the impression that the layoffs were simply accepted with an "oh well" mentality rather than being acknowledged as a significant event affecting both the individuals who lost their jobs and the remaining staff. What was particularly concerning was hearing the CEO state that these layoffs did not have an impact on the organization. Statements like that can come across as disconnected from the day-to-day reality experienced by employees. Losing 18 colleagues inevitably affects morale, workload, institutional knowledge, and trust within the company. Even when layoffs are necessary, recognizing their impact and communicating with empathy can make a meaningful difference. In this case, the lack of transparency and acknowledgment left many employees feeling that leadership was out of touch with the effects these decisions had on the organization and its people.

Pros

My incredible and extremely knowledgeable coworkers.

Cons

I had no issues with this company for a long time and genuinely enjoyed working here until recently. Lately though, management has become increasingly disconnected from hourly employees. There’s constant micromanagement, poor communication, last-minute schedule changes, and massive last minute projects with unrealistic expectations and little to no appreciation afterward. What really hurt morale was seeing how disposable employees are treated despite promises of stability and opportunity. The pay does not match the workload or stress, and from what I’ve seen, many positions don’t even meet national average pay rates for similar work. Leadership feels completely out of touch with the reality of the people actually doing the work, and employees are expected to constantly sacrifice their time and energy while being treated as easily replaceable.
