Overall review - Lab Technician Cyrex Laboratories Employee Review

Very supportive team, small company environment.

At times felt communication from upper management could have been better.

I worked there several years ago but the coworkers I met are still friends with me to this day. Most of the other employees in departments are friendly and everyone wanted to work together.

Management, at that time, did not listen to employees and implemented physical structures that blocked major traffic points in the lab. Management did not support crucial members of their team, mainly the small QA/QC team and Controls team. There was severe wage discrimination to the point that two employees, same experience, had a $9/hour difference. When I worked there, you had to opt in to take a cell phone once a week for the environmental monitoring system of all the fridges and freezers. This phone could call at any point during the night and you were expected to answer it, and potentially go down to the lab and fix the problem after hours.
