Pros
I got to work with some really cool people and as a previous review stated, we got paid on time and the benefits were pretty good.
Cons
As much as the company sees itself like a rocket ship, I feel like it is better to compare them to the Titanic waiting for an iceberg to hit. One of the biggest issues they have is the management team. The team is a frat/boys club that is filled with people who lack experience and are winging it. Employees are forced to do whatever this inexperienced team says and questioning things won't get you anywhere and pretty much not allowed in this frat house. If they want to get anywhere, the board needs to clean house and get qualified people in to attempt to fix the mess of a company they have now. Other issues they have is the high turnover rate, they are losing more people than they can hire, lack of culture, little to no career growth (unless you are in management), and a hacky product (overpromise and under deliver often). Also, ever hear the saying "HR is not there for you, they're there for the company"? It is undeniable at Mesosphere that HR is never there for you and only hears about your grievances to keep up their "we care!" facade and to look out for possible lawsuits or legal issues. HR also runs around touting these core values that are a joke because no one up top really follows them. Lastly +1 on the whole "Toxic Environment" review.
