Pros
DAS was a good place to earn commissions if you were willing to work hard with little direction and did not have a lot of experience and/or formal education.
Cons
Incredibly toxic work environment consists of middle and upper- level management constantly focused only on appeasing the CEO at all costs. The CEO while a savvy marketer is bitter and narcissistic. Instead of investing in R&D and/or making useful product innovations that could help expand market share and truly make an impact with customers they are only concerned with receiving accolades and PR from local business journals. I'm genuinely surprised the reputation of this company hasn't caught up with them as the business model seemed to be to spend a lot of money on lavish customer events and essential bribe dealerships into spending money with them. Very high turnover at the c-suite because CEO discourages original thought and prefers to surround themselves with folks that will blindly follow their lead vs. make useful contributions. I'd also be willing to bet the majority of 5 star reviews have come from new hires pressured into doing so or coerced by leadership in an effort to keep the leader happy.
