Pros

Some great people to work with. The non-management employees are great and want to do a good job and try really hard to do a good job.

Cons

When you first come into this company they place so much importance on their company culture, but not all department heads follow the company culture. The company talks about culture and how important it is but my department doesn't seem to follow that. They are back stabbing within the department and play favorites, pitting one against the other. I was brought in and was not given any training on company specific processes, was not given any guidance on how they wanted me to do the job AND expected me to be up to speed immediately as if I had worked there for years. The company acts as though they care about the turn over rate but don't address the actual cause, which is the Management they have in place

Pros

Patient connections is rewarding work, great hands on experience, paid on the job training, training for PCTs is at least consistent.

Cons

12+ hour long hours, emotionally and physically taxing, unqualified management, poor communication, inconsistent scheduling, high turn over, very little amount of opportunity for movement within the company despite preaching that they encourage it. The culture and values are heavily spoken about with little to no enforcement. The position requires significant dedication to learn all the moving parts of the clinic.
