Pros

Regarding Admissions: Good salary for the actual job description. Free-ish schooling... but at DeVry or Keller. PTO and benefits. DeVry Education Group is huge so after a few years of the cons you could possibly move into a different school, location or function within the company.

Cons

Regarding Admissions: Management - dishonesty, favoritism, no accountability, catty chatting, lack of training, lack of leadership ability - generally all promoted based on ability to sell education not ability to lead or manage, generally lack ability to grow talent, they lack training, pose and business ethics. Little to no ethical growth potential. You're selling overpriced education mostly to people who just dont know any better and pretending to be customer service due to Title IV. High sales pressure no rewards. No checks and balances for anything. All performance metrics are "up for interpretation" and you generally change managers every few months so there's no real tracking system for your accomplishments but your "areas of opportunity" will always be at the forefront of your reviews.

Pros

DeVry Day was a wonderful example of our positive culture, meaningful work, and commitment to making a difference. Welcoming and congratulating graduates allowed me to celebrate their achievements firsthand and witness the impact of the support and resources DeVry provides throughout their educational journey. The event created a sense of community, recognition, and pride that reflected our dedication to student success. Seeing graduates and their families celebrate this milestone reinforced how our work contributes to helping students achieve their goals and create better futures for themselves

Cons

This event was nothing but spectacular!

Pros

Work from home, good benefits, paid time off & the pay.

Cons

They say it’s not a KPI based position but it is. They will not give commission because they say we should be in it for the students and not numbers but the position is solely based on numbers. This is not a warm, team friendly position. Even your team mates are in competition with you. You will work two Saturdays out of the month and sometimes even Sundays and they still won’t be satisfied with your work ethic.
