Pros
They pay high and there are some challenging projects with good collaborators but unfortunately even as a Pro, most of what you do here will never go into production and as a product or engineer that can be very discouraging.
Cons
I overheard someone say this line at work: Rearden Commerce = Career Suicide and i couldnt believe my ears, but it is true. Once you take on a career at Rearden, you basically take 2 steps back. Interviewers and recruiters all question why anyone would go here after all of the horrible reviews from 2008 on. Many former employees (needless to say) have a very hard time getting work after showing Rearden on their resume. Also, if you are going here for the stock, forget it. They dilute it with frequency and the only person that may ever make any money is the CEO. Engineering can work for weeks only to have the entire release fail and have to roll back. Lay-offs seem to come in waves.
