Pros

I worked at this company as a part-time UX/UI Designer and overall, I have positive memories of my time there. It's a great place for people looking to gain experience in the IT industry. The biggest pluses? The relaxed working atmosphere, the team's openness to new ideas, and the significant autonomy in project implementation. The flexible hours for the part-time position were also a major advantage.

Cons

Cons? Project priorities sometimes shifted rapidly, requiring significant flexibility and rapid adaptation to new business needs. The smaller design team also sometimes lacked the opportunity to consult with other designers.

Pros

I've been working at the company for about two years as a React Web Developer and can wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking to develop in IT while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. My day job is as a React Developer, but I'm often involved in front-end development tasks as well. In my projects, I primarily use React, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), Redux, React Query, HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, and Git. Depending on the project, we also use Next.js, REST APIs, sometimes GraphQL, and Jira and Confluence for work organization. The biggest advantages for me are the atmosphere and flexibility. You can count on the team's support, and communication is more collaborative than corporate. The ability to work remotely and the reasonable approach to working hours are a big plus. If you need to take care of something privately, it's no problem, as long as the projects are completed according to plan.

Cons

Of course, not everything is perfect. As in most software companies, there are sprints with a larger number of tasks and moments when deadlines are quite tight. Sometimes, there are projects with legacy code where it takes more time to understand existing solutions than to create new functionality. It's also possible that business requirements change during implementation, requiring rapid adaptation.

Pros

Listen, if you’re looking for an HR spot in Chicago where they actually treat you like a human being, this is it. The vibe is just awesome—it’s not that stiff, old-school corporate energy. Everyone is super chill, and the leadership actually listens to your ideas instead of just giving orders. The perks are also a huge plus. The health benefits are solid, the office is in a great spot, and the flexibility is a lifesaver. I don’t have to stress if I need to run an errand or work from home for a bit. You really feel like you’re making a difference here, not just pushing papers all day.

Cons

I mean, it’s not perfect—it gets crazy busy. There are days when the workload feels like a mountain, and "urgent" tasks keep piling up out of nowhere. You definitely need to be good at multitasking, or you’ll get overwhelmed pretty fast. Also, some of the internal processes are still a bit of a mess. You’ll definitely run into moments where things feel chaotic or disorganized, so you have to be okay with "winging it" sometimes while we figure things out.
