Pros

- Fast career growth, learn a lot. - Many opportunities to make a direct business impact. - Most teams were either remote or hybrid. - Free DashPass, I guess. - $75 gym/wellbeing monthly stipend. - Good diversity and inclusion.

Cons

- Extremely fast-paced and hustle culture, poor work life balance. Many of my colleagues worked overtime and on weekends/holidays. Company values speed over quality, so many projects that shipped are garbage, just for the sake of shipping. - Priorities changed many times per quarter throughout the year, so it was difficult to track personal growth over time. Made me wonder what's the point of quarterly planning if priorities will shift anyway... This also meant many of my projects were discarded despite weeks/months of work. - Minor, but benefits and perks are also terrible compared to other tech companies. No DoorDash credits (just DashPass), and company swag is very cheap quality.

Pros

If you are considering working with this platform, be aware that the management model is built on deliberate ambiguity. The app and software are designed to keep you in a constant state of uncertainty regarding your performance metrics. There is no transparency regarding how jobs are assigned or how your work is actually evaluated. This appears to be a calculated strategy to keep workers chasing 'better status' without ever providing a clear path to achieve it. You will never know if you are truly meeting expectations because the system is intentionally opaque. Approach with caution if you value transparency and clear communication.

Cons

The supposed 'flexibility' of this role is actually a double-edged sword. While the platform advertises freedom, it functions as a lack of structure and support. Because the performance metrics are intentionally opaque, the 'independence' of the job feels more like isolation. You are left guessing if your efforts are actually valued or just another input in an algorithm that doesn't prioritize worker success.
