Pros
Some of the people are very kind and friendly, the company is happy to invest in social experiences for the staff. If you are a completely independent, self-starter you may enjoy this company.
Cons
The management for the company are completely uninterested in engaging in feedback or suggestions for improvement. They offer a world of possibilities in terms of growth and flexibility during the interview process, but they communicate extremely poorly once you have accepted the role. There is no onboarding process and no training offered, you will be expected to be completely independent from your first day and no feedback or support will be offered. The moment the company suspects that you are frustrated or unfulfilled, they alienate you from the rest of the staff, criticise what work you might have been able to complete, and you will be ignored by management. They are only interested in staff who fit into their ideal demographic, and are not interested in listening to more experienced staff that they hire about what improvements or concerns they have about the way the business runs. You should also not expect to speak to many people in the office, even if you are forced into the office for four days or more per week, because no one takes the time to greet or say goodbye to anyone else. They also run off Macs, which is a joke for a financial institution. If you want a position where you will have a clear job outline and support from your managers, look elsewhere. It is not worth trying to get either from this company.
