Pros
This is a very small Bank (70 employees) using a full outsource model.
The work environment is one of the best I in my experience.
Excellent teamwork across the organization and there is zero politics
As a professional, you will have a lot of latitude to push your own ideas and drive your team as you wish.
The Bank is very open to innovation and there is very little red tape for getting new resources (not FTE!!) and/or implementing new ideas.
The Senior management, under Trudy's leadership is of really high caliber.
Trudy is a truly outstanding CEO. She attends every weekly full team huddle and she has a 1 on 1 meeting with every employee of the Bank.
The ownership of the Bank (Stephen Smith, Teachers Union and Centerbridge) are a group of extremely bright investors with not only deep pockets but great connections that facilitate the Bank's doing business.
The Bank has a very ambitious growth plan to expand beyond the Walmart origins.
The Bank strives to maintain an outstanding work to life balance, even before the pandemic
IMO, the overall compensation packages are very competitive for such an outstanding institution
Overall, I really highly recommend the Bank
Cons
Very little opportunities to grow as org chart is very flat and bank is small
Very lean organization, so you need to be hands on even as a Senior manager
Very hard, if not impossible to get additional FTE even though the Bank is growing very fast
