Pros

- the people are truly the best part about EF - it's the reason I decided to work here in the first place and the reason i continue to stay! such a strong and fun and hardworking company culture! -travel perks are so fun! can ebb and flow depending on tenure but would not have been able to travel as much if I did not work here -ability to grow fast and learn a lot. you are given a lot of autonomy (especially in sales) -belief in leadership. love the leadership team in my product -retention - so many people are staying right now -such a great entry level sales role to start your career in. you learn so much so fast and have fun doing it! -great work life balance. i literally never think about work on the weekends or after 5:30pm

Cons

- never feel like we are getting paid enough, especially in Boston but it's a lot better than when i started 5+ years ago. with that being said, with all the free travel + fun office culture, it makes it worth it! -can be hard to find new roles since retention is so high right now so not much movement

Pros

Well structured, comprehensive formal training. Perks and benefits

Cons

Once training is done, you’re pretty much on your own to figure things out. The weekly meetings with your manager end. You spend all day on the phones and there’s not a whole lot of interaction or collaboration going on in the office or across your team. At the end of the day it is a job and the perks and benefits are nice (travel). It just seemed social interaction of any kind, even to ask questions, was discouraged and in fact was viewed as distracting. The cold calling just gets to be tiring after a while, making it hard to stay at the job for longer than 1-2 years. Good entry level sales job, though.
