Pros

In my position the only plus is my colleagues. The pros are free parties, free t.shirts and promo stuff.

Cons

I've worked here for over 6 years and have not received one raise, not even cost of living. Management constantly changes and their only goal is to cut costs and save money. We have been lied to repeatedly and denigrated. Morale is in the toilet. When you work for EF you quickly realize that you are being bullshitted, they offer fun activities but no real career path. Wages are low and you'll never get a raise unless you get promoted. Managers are only interested in looking good and saving money, there are truly terrible managers who will lie to your face. Everyone is expected to do two jobs. It's not worth it, everyone becomes cynical, if you're Swedish you'll get a good deal. The bottom line of this company is not educating the world but making obscene amounts of profits for the Hults.

Pros

You get to choose your tour and recruit the students you want to bring. The paid chaperone ratio is 6:1, so it is very manageable. The tours are great and the local experts are wonderful.

Cons

Company support is variable. There is high turnover and new consultants are very sales motivated and don't always get the nuances of your school or community group. I have had some WONDERFUL concusltants, but they have always been promoted before I get to work with them again.
