Pros

I have the benefit of working for a tight-knit Sales & Marketing team, despite having team members across the nation. The team has annual National Sales Meetings that are valuable because we not only go over key initiatives from all the departments in the company, and learn new things; but there are multiple team-building events and other ways to build camaraderie. Our SVP; Chief Sales Officer, Ray Wise, and his direct report, Lindsey Rynard; VP of Sales Operations, are both amazing leaders, and I know many others in all departments will agree. They are people-first and are very transparent. They are a few of the nicest, most genuine people I have ever had the pleasure to meet and work for. Regardless of being in the Sales/Marketing organization, every department works together well. I don't have a lot of experience in insurance, but key folks are happy to teach you if you have any questions. It may be cliche to say, but I'm truly part of a family atmosphere, despite it now being a national company. I've made some great friends in the short time I've been here. This organization is moving forward in a majorly positive direction as evolves past a traditionally stodgy industry to a leader thanks to investments in technology to benefit its appointed agents and policyholders, along with work culture to benefit its employees. This is a company worth working for, long-term!

Cons

The organization listened to employee feedback and is taking steps to improve internal communication.

Management seems to care. Work life balance.

Doing the work of a senior adjuster but they will not give promotions even though the adjusters do the work, for a lower pay.
