You raised an important point regarding the absence of stock benefits. In response to this, we’d like to highlight that ENGIE is actively working to strengthen its employee shareholding program. In December 2023, the Group received the Grand Prix de l'Indice FAS-IAS for its employee share ownership initiative, LINK. The next plan is scheduled for 2024. This year, nearly 30,000 employees across 20 countries — representing 35% of eligible staff — requested to purchase ENGIE shares under preferential conditions. By the end of 2024, ENGIE employees will own close to 4% of the Group’s capital, reflecting our commitment to involving employees in the company’s long-term success. Pros

The work can be challenging but also fulfilling at the same time and many opportunities and resources to learn. The pay and benefits are a little above average.

Cons

The culture has adversely changed where it used to be cooperative but now it is more cut-throat and many things are not communicated properly and an imbalance of responsibility and accountability which is causing conflict. There are many "exceptions".
