Managers are very unprepared. Not only lack of soft skills and empathy, but also great communication problems. The company has a very strong bias towards employees who speak Russian (Russians, Belarusians, and Ukrainians). As many come from these regions and have limitations in speaking English, it is easier for them to communicate in Russian. As the company Competency Skills Matrix dictates you need a B2/C1 level of English to take management positions, you often see people with a real B1 level being evaluated in the English assessment as B2+ just to be able to assume such positions. This limits opportunities for non-Russian speakers and puts employees with low/zero preparation to deal with people in management positions just because of the language
