Pros

During the time I was working at Edmunds, they had some fun stuff around the office, free food, and some small perks here and there. At the time they also had pretty flexible hours and options to work from home. They were on the ROWE program. I heard instead of taking ROWE away, they recently rolled out ROWE 2.0, which from what I hear is about the same as no ROWE.

Cons

I was with Edmunds for a year and a half. During that time, I had 5 different managers, 2 different directors, and the commission structure changed 4 times. The company has no idea what they're doing and doesn't really care about their employees like they say they do. The annual "best place to work" survey is sent out by the company every year and they really push the employees to fill out positive surveys. That's the only reason why they get the "best place to work" award.

Pros

My experience here has been exceptional. The company offers a fantastic work-life balance, a supportive culture, and generous perks, all within a fully remote setup. The team is genuinely caring, and I've found ample opportunities for growth thanks to the ability to rotate teams. I initially planned to stay for a copule years before moving to a big tech company, but I've been so impressed that I've been here for many years and plan to stay longer.

Cons

Since the company operates on a nearly full-remote model, there are fewer opportunities for in-person socialization; however, the option to work from the office is always available for those who want to connect with colleagues. While the compensation is competitive and by no means low, it is important to note that it is less than what's offered by major tech companies, and no stock options are included as part of the compensation package.
