Pros
The people, project centric structure, teamwork, work-life balance, pay and benefits were the best! I'd go back in a heartbeat given the opportunity.
Cons
At the time there was a bit of tension as the Canadian (HQ) and US divisions were trying too hard to standardize methods and procedures. A lot of change for sake of change that didn't really improve things all of the time. Understand that's been resolved now. Downturn in the oil market and some projects cancelled or delayed caused US workforce in particular to be reduced.
