Pros

Good people at the individual contributor level. Nice perks, like the stipend for food delivery and unlimited PTO.

Cons

This is a Theory X company dressed in Theory Y clothing. All of the modern perks of a tech company are just covering up old school management styles. The company is also extremely disorganized. Leadership often can’t agree with one another and are unable to determine the direction of the company themselves, so they burden employees with figuring it out and blame them when it doesn’t come together. Phrases often heard in the CEO’s regular meetings are “because this is my company I get to…” and “if you were a rockstar at your previous job you probably won’t be a good fit here.” What? Not sure what that even means. Thanks very much, but now a different company is benefiting from this rockstar, as well as other former employees.

Pros

Even though the company is relatively small, the impact we make is significant and everyone plays an important role. One of the best parts of the job is the people. My coworkers are supportive, collaborative, and genuinely enjoyable to work with. There’s also a lot of flexibility to explore your interests and take on new challenges. If you’re proactive, you can shape your role and grow in ways that align with your strengths and goals. A standout highlight was a recent company-wide offsite, which really reinforced the strong culture and connection across the team. Overall, it’s a rewarding place to work with great people, meaningful opportunities, and a leadership team that invests in its employees.

Cons

Like any growing company, there are times when resources feel stretched and priorities can become concentrated in a few areas. That said, leadership is aware and continues to evolve how we operate.
