Pros
The people (employees) here are really nice, friendly and very hardworking. You can go upto anyone and talk, ask doubts, work together to resolve a problem. People have knowledge and know-how to get things done. Every now and then, they treat their employees with trips, and the HR does small fun events.
Cons
Uff. Where to start? First off, the culture and attitude of the higher ups. They have an allergy with the employees comfort. Take leave for one day and people will ask where you are. You'll get taunts for long leaves. Even taking WFH triggers their allergies, despite them allowing 2 per month. Their products look good on the surface but are very messy internally, and the devs have to add to the mess because not enough time or consideration is given to quality. The focus is on pushing things to prod yesterday. They'll mindlessly invest loads of money in some tool that adds to legacy tech debt. I've heard stories of employees made to work all day and then late into the night, without extra compensation or appreciation. Just entitled attitude that employee should sacrifice their time, peace and energy for their product because they overpromised. Really bad upper management, at times I think if they know how to run company or are just playing fun gamble with employees lives. Some will say one thing and mean smthing else. They'll fire people who've dedicated years to the company, every year. They'll be polite to US employees and crap on the indian ones. I wonder how long it'll stay afloat in this "startup culture" lol
