Pros
Friendly and knowledgeable colleagues. The EHS projects supposedly will help business to promote health working conditions and a better environment.
Cons
Senior management is totally out of touch of the consultants, who make up more than half of the total employees and contribute to the 100% of business, yet senior management feel so proud of it as they think they are superior than consultants. 1. Salary. Consultants are severely underpaid, either judged by the industry average or by the revenue each consultant generates annually. 2. Promotion. The philosophy is simple, you are selected on day one by CEO's personal preference. There is no formalized internal promotion procedure at all. Your intern will become your boss before you even realize it. Be careful not to be too strict on a junior joined years after you because very likely, he or she will become your boss next week. 3. Career Development. Enhesa is not a typical consulting firm, consultants are hidden from clients most of the time. You will not have the opportunity to improve presentation skills or other interpersonal skills as you will learn from any other consulting companies. The depth of legal research and analysis required at job is very limited too. 4. Working Environment. Besides a group of nice colleagues, the overall morale is low and the office is old. Low-end desks and chairs impose ergonomic risks, and at least 20% of the work time must be devoted to fight with an outdated IT system. 5. Management Style. The above points will be totally invalid once you are selected as a manager. Being a manager at Enhesa means you have a higher salary, you are above the rule, you get international travels at least twice a year, you have no solid work to do, and most importantly, you will not be held accountable for any wrong judgement or decision.
