Pros

There are little pros to mention. Other than being able to pay the bills and barely have anything left at the end of the month to spend on yourself.

Cons

Anything you can imagine as part of your working life is a con at this company. Whether you are in their DC offices or in Brussels. The company is very badly organised and structured. You will NEVER work an 8 hour day since everything takes so much longer to complete due to bad internal procedures and complicated databases. The employer/employee relationships are very fragmented and concerns are never considered by upper management. In fact you will wonder whether there is any link between employees and employer since they either have no understanding or factual knowledge of what goes on or they simply turn a blind eye. They rely heavily on recent graduates and are almost a revolving door when it comes to hiring since they take advantage of low paid EU citizens to fill their posts which are completely expendable to them. Do not expect anything. It is but a stepping stone for all who work there who have the resilience to put up with the company. If everything else fails then consider working for them but ALWAYS keep your options open and from day one I would suggest looking for another job. Also there is a strong suspicion that all positive reviews on this website are part of a promotion of the company by management. You have been warned. Good luck.

Pros

The role can provide valuable exposure to environmental, health, and safety (EHS) compliance and offers opportunities to expand your technical knowledge. Employees may also gain experience working with larger clients and navigating complex compliance environments, which can be beneficial for professional development.

Cons

The workplace culture can feel highly political, with very noticeable favoritism and cliquish dynamics that make it difficult for all employees to feel equally supported which is such a shame because in theory this is a great opportunity for EHS professionals! Communication at times realllyyy felt centered around gossip rather than constructive collaboration, which can negatively impact morale and overall well-being. It felt like high school at times. Leadership and management support is inconsistent, particularly during challenging personal circumstances when empathy and flexibility would have been appreciated. There shouldn’t be so much negativity when someone decides to move on from their role. Most of us are simply young professionals trying to grow, excel, and find the right fit for our careers. Kindness costs nothing. In my opinion, another challenge is the culture. If community, authenticity, and empathy matter to you—especially if you’re naturally more introverted or prefer to let your work speak for itself—this may not feel like the best fit. At times, the environment can feel performative or clique-driven rather than centered on collaboration, professionalism, and simply doing great work

Enhesa Response
3w
As CHRO, I feel it is important to respond directly because the portrayal in this review is far from the reality of the organization I know and the experience shared by the vast majority of our employees. Are we perfect? Of course not. No company is. We continuously work to improve, listen, and evolve. But the suggestion that our culture is rooted in favoritism, gossip, lack of empathy, or poor treatment of employees is simply not an accurate reflection of who we are or how we operate. In particular, the comments regarding employee wellbeing and support are difficult to reconcile with the significant effort, care, and resources we invest in our people every day. Supporting employees through personal challenges, creating flexibility where possible, and fostering respectful working relationships are priorities for our leadership teams globally. That commitment is genuine and consistently demonstrated across the organization. The characterization of Enhesa as clique-driven or centered around gossip is especially unfair to the many dedicated professionals and leaders who work incredibly hard every day to support their colleagues, mentor younger talent, and maintain a positive working environment across teams and regions. We welcome constructive feedback when it is factual, balanced, and intended to help the organization grow. What we do not accept is a sweeping and exaggerated portrayal that undermines the integrity of the people who continue to contribute positively to this company every day. I genuinely wish you success in your future career and hope you ultimately find an environment better suited to your unique perspective on things.
