Pros

Flexible, laid back atmosphere with a focus on results and excellence. Employees genuinely care for each other. Perks such as company lunches, "Enta Bucks", crawfish boils, tailgates, etc. Best job I've ever had

Cons

Owner is aloof and doesn't seem to set clear direction There does not seem to be much emphasis on expanding the client base. Remaining employees were given no definitive timeline for their layoff date Sadly closing shop

Pros

With the company being so small, you have an opportunity to learn different elements of many things. Can be flexible for personal life. There are a FEW truly good-hearted people here, who care for both the company and its employees.

Cons

Let me start by saying that this is one of the most unprofessional companies that I have ever been associated with, from top to bottom. The company tries to excuse that by saying that they are "fun and laid-back". This level of unprofessionalism is inexcusable though. NO HR department: rules made on the fly, according to convenience; good luck changing the location of your direct deposit, benefits or anything else like that; NO regularly scheduled review period... ie: NO regularly scheduled raises. I know people who didn't get a raise for years. Issue with a co-worker? Hopefully the right one. An issue with the wrong coworker will lead to a group meeting where 3, 4, 5+ people gang up to address "your issue". You also do not have the opportunities to apply within the company for available positions. It's either hand-selected or posted externally. Lack of organization Lack of leadership: Bad attitudes are contagious, and you know what is said about apples. There is an overall sour attitude company-wide. Moody co-workers/managers are allowed to ruin other peoples' days. There is no separation of personal and professional. Small company which sets an unrealistic expectation of Drop everything a client needs you... always. Weekends, nights, vacations... Everything is panic mode, without someone to take charge and manage issues. Very clique-y. Welcome back to high school. To finish it off, GOOD LUCK if you even have one negative piece of feedback or a suggestion for improvement. You are literally told "Don't let the door hit you in the ...." with a few other choice words.
