Pros

When you have other colleagues suffering with you under the toxic culture that management has created, you gain a sense of brother(sister)hood among each other. Everyone really tries to pick each other up especially when the weight of work burdens you every day.

Cons

Where do I start? It's extremely difficult to hear from management after explaining and giving evidence to the ever-increasing workload and stress on the department that we "just need to have better attitudes about it." It sometimes feels taboo to even voice our concerns or exhaustion from the constant responsibilities that are being added upon. On top of that, there is very little trust from management. We have to return-and-report every single hour of every single day of what we do, lest we are perceived as not doing our jobs. Did I mention that there is a lack of vision and expectations from them? The KPIs were so inconsistent and ill-measured that it was difficult to know if we were actually doing things right because we had no direction or help from management. I could go on and on about how freeing it was to leave that department, but I'll leave it with this last statement: Every day I felt like I was on a PIP and about to lose my job.

Pros

I have a pretty good group of team members. My mid-level supervisor is also easy to work with and supportive.

Cons

Entrata does not care about their employees, or even their products/services. This is made clear by insane workloads, exhausting meetings with escalated clients, and a “standard” 3% (if you are exceeding expectations and lucky) raise. I do moderately technical work that requires a decent amount of experience, as well as a client facing and internal leadership role, and I don’t make what is considered a “living wage” in Utah, even after years of working here. Execs seem to be having a great time partying at Summit with the most expensive celebrities they can book (Seinfeld, James Cordon, Tom Brady, Weezer…) but absolutely do not care about the uninvited staff who are working to support their client retention and their low-bar concept of product integrity.
