Pros
- Better work-life balance than other companies in Japan. - Casual dress code at the office.
Cons
- Underlying problems and issues have been voluntarily ignored or swept under the rug. Key Senior Decision Makers in our company should take their heads out of the sand and finally assume their responsibilities dealing with uncomfortable situations instead of turning a blind eye to maintain the status quo. - Too much Politics and sense of entitlement from a large number of People managers who are not pulling their weights nor thinking commercially or properly developing their team members. - No concrete actions taken toward problems by the management and only thing you see and hear from them is excuses and procrastination. - Top down decision making, voices from local offices are hardly hear and reflected on the decision. - Although transparency is one of the company's core value, there is little transparency. - Current managers (especially in sales teams) were selected based on their sales performance in the past but not management or leadership skills. They cannot properly support their team members to win deals since their knowledge comes from the time when they were sales reps where the market situation was less competitive. They really need to learn current external situation and adjust their strategies to properly support the sales team. Due to this, many young good talents have been leaving the company.
