Pros
I am a computer engineering graduate and I join FDM after I have graduated from my University. FDM provide opportunities for a fresh graduate like me to have opportunities to work in a prestigious financial institution such as Bank of America Merrill Lynch, UBS, Murex and BNP Paribas. My program was about 12 weeks, we have training on ExcelVBA, soft skills, Unix, SQL, Java etc. And you get to interact with colleagues from various proficiency in their University. The account manager will also prepare you for the interview to be placed on-site. We get paid for the training period and the actual salary will roll in after placement starts.
Cons
There is a 2 year bond with the company, in any term of resigning before completing 2 years of placement. You need to pay the training fee of up to around 40k. Fix pay without bonus.
