Pros
-Learning a lot about the fundamentals of different programming languages. -Guide you through your Job searching process. -Hopefully refer you to a blue chip company. -I don't have much experience working in a company and I was told FDM focuses on fulling in the gap between university and employment.
Cons
-It's really stressing. The training sessions are every weekday from 9:00am to 5:30am and we have to learn new material for each class. I feel like quitting everyday, but it's not really for marks, so my advice is to do your best and ask for help when needed. -Really small environment. -Your salary will be low. The client company probably pay FDM $20,000 annually, for the two years, for referring to that company. -If you feel like you have the ability to get a job on your own, I don't really recommend you to join FDM as it can take up a lot of your time.
