Pros
- Most colleagues are nice and intelligent people. - There is a steep learning curve, provided you’re willing to learn. - It used to be possible to pick up overtime and earn more money (this is no longer the case).
Cons
- Upper management keeps coming up with radical “make-a-quick-buck” strategies, not realizing that these same strategies are pulling the company down. - They put a lot of faith in AI and low-cost labor in other countries while laying off employees in Europe and the US left and right. - Contractors are constantly bugging full-time employees with the smallest questions and “doubts” without putting any effort into their own research. That’s the result of trying to save money on full-time employees. - In general, the work environment is a mess. Very few people know how the products work, and a lot of pressure is placed on them. - Some people are drastically underpaid and have no idea about it. Fun fact: they ask you to leave a Glassdoor review within the first couple of months of work.
