Pros
Nice building/Clean working environment/Branded by FedEx.
Cons
I worked as a customer service agent and now as a supervisor. The dress code is relaxed and people are generally friendly. Upper management and the ELT seem aloof and they're very dismissive if you're lower at the FedEx food chain. I'm shocked that we have an executive that lacks proper English and grammatical skills. But, we all know how this individual gained their company rank. Everyone seems to cater to the CEO and she seems to enjoy sharing the experiences she has on her yacht and world travels. The company must streamline archaic processes that require redundancy of team member. There are several dedicated employees that do a wonderful job, but feel uncertain of job sustainability. When the company is busy, you feel secure. When things slow down, you're just a number. Confidentiality is an issue and one learns to never address a serious issue or you're treated like a whistleblower. The company likes to share the number of women in leadership roles. They use that to their advantage in the marketing of the company.
