Pros

Good benefits, 401K, and pension plan. Generous vacation time.

Cons

Don't apply here unless you plan on working nights and weekends the rest of your career. The company has terrible management and because they can't hire and keep employees they force tenured employees to work nights and weekends. Management is planning to do rebids annually which means you are assigned a shift not based on your hard work or experience, but based on your seniority in your team. Because they pay management so poorly, most of the facilitators are uneducated and have no professional experience outside of Custom Critical. People are promoted to satisfy affirmative action requirements.

Pros

On site exercise facility in a nice huge building. Security is there on site 24 hrs a day. Virginia (the CEO) and the Executive Leadership Panel are all great people.

Cons

Bad management. Quality is a big grey area, this dept should be completely restructured . There is A lot of favoritism and Lack of guidance from select supervisors. These people pretend to be professional. Most of the people that work here are great but there are a number of hateful individuals who will go out of their way to be obnoxious. There is little to no room for advancement. The systems are outdated by far (DOS). It's a very very stressful and demanding job but the pay is a joke.

Pros

Nice building/Clean working environment/Branded by FedEx.

Cons

I worked as a customer service agent and now as a supervisor. The dress code is relaxed and people are generally friendly. Upper management and the ELT seem aloof and they're very dismissive if you're lower at the FedEx food chain. I'm shocked that we have an executive that lacks proper English and grammatical skills. But, we all know how this individual gained their company rank. Everyone seems to cater to the CEO and she seems to enjoy sharing the experiences she has on her yacht and world travels. The company must streamline archaic processes that require redundancy of team member. There are several dedicated employees that do a wonderful job, but feel uncertain of job sustainability. When the company is busy, you feel secure. When things slow down, you're just a number. Confidentiality is an issue and one learns to never address a serious issue or you're treated like a whistleblower. The company likes to share the number of women in leadership roles. They use that to their advantage in the marketing of the company.
