Pros

Absolutely zero pros. Do not work here no matter how bad you need a job. Let this company drown. This company is everything that's wrong with corporate.

Cons

Corporate hazing-You will have to drive to Minnesota three times in your first year for pointless training that can be done via Teams. Horrible Managers and no training. You will essentially be a customer service rep, rental agent, estimator, assess bodily injuries, investigate claims, argue with morons. This job pays $60,000 less than it should. Do not work for these people. There is office politics, office drama, office misconduct, office discrimination in all forms. This company can't keep employees past 2 years. This position is absolutely putrid and they are desperate for drones that they can chew up and spit out. They will sell you on the benefits but there are only four paid holidays per year. Mandatory corporate meetings that are pointless. Outdated system and regimented micromanagement. Do not work for this company if you value your sanity. You will be given a laptop there are no off days. As I said the benefits are putrid.

Pros

Hands down, the best employment culture of any company I’ve worked for in my 25+ years practicing law. Federated is a true rarity - a company that genuinely lives its corporate values every day, in decisions both large and small. Leadership listens to employees with curiosity and a willingness to improve, not defensiveness or indifference. There’s a common refrain that if a company takes care of its employees, those employees will, in turn, take care of customers. I’ve never seen that philosophy embraced or executed as successfully as it is at Federated. Success is recognized and rewarded, teamwork - or “interdependence,” as we call it - is the norm, and challenges or setbacks are treated as opportunities for constructive feedback and growth. And that’s before even mentioning the outstanding compensation and benefits. I recommend Federated wholeheartedly and without reservation to friends and family.

Cons

Business formal dress code for more senior positions may be a bit antiquated.
